The number of months Joshua is today!!!!! 4 months old
And the number of shots that the poor little guy got at the doctors office today.
And the number of shots that the poor little guy got at the doctors office today.
He is doing okay. But he had about an hour this afternoon where I could not console him at all. I had already given him his dose of baby tylenol, so all I could do was rock him and walk all around the house and let him try to quiet himself down. He did do that finally and is actually still napping as I type this entry. I hope that he wakes up as the happy little guy that he normally is because tonight we get to try our first serving of rice cereal:)

Rain Rain Go Away
Currently I am typing this blog in my office listening to the down pour outside, wondering when nice weather is going to stay. Yesterday was such a beautiful day out. So beautiful in fact that I wanted to take advantage of the beautiful back drop that our front flower bed provided. I guess that I should also thank the previous owners for planting these lovely tulip bulbs that keep coming back spring after spring without needing any intervention from me. Because anyone that really knows me can attest that I am NOT a green thumb.

Bumbo/Valpo Trip
Last weekend I had Saturday off, so Jeff and I decided to take a road trip back to Valpo to visit our old house/neighborhood and also check out the town and see how much it's grown. We also stopped at Don Pablo's for lunch in Merrilville, very tasty.

The next pictures are of Joshua trying out his new bumbo. I know what some of you are thinking, I vowed never to get one because they are slightly weird, but now that we finally got the head control taken care of I wanted him to get some practice sitting up. It was actually a great investment because even when Josh is in your arms he wants to face out and sit up and see everything. He is very curious about what is going on around him.
